You should be more agressive.
If you can be 12H that's mean you can farm a lot.

Build 5 legionnaire start to farm other people around you and keep building more legionnaire.
Usually teuton and romain is more advised than 'gauls' because gauls have good cranny + traap.

When you go sleep send your troop away farm a small village. Make sure when your troop return to be here so you be able to keep farm and your troop 24H/24H move.


For your defense, build 1 at 2 cranny max so you will lose 0.0.0.0 ressources.

Another thing you might want to consider is to research equites imperatoris ASAP because they are your fast farmers and they can bring back resources fast and they are 2x as fast as legionnaires. Requirement for EI is L5 stable and L5 Academy. At 142 pop i already have them.
